What are these hole for??
4 holes

turn signal rubber plug inserts (both sides), similar to headlight plugs in inner fenders

been a few years since i built mine, but if you plan on running vintage air i think you use those holes for reference points. not certain but check before you weld them up

When I took this picture I was mocking up the vintage air condenser and drier, I don't need those holes, I have the Compact Gen 2 system.

So there are blinkers that go there also?? My blinkers are under the head lights

i think those holes are how the wiring exits the engine compartment TO the blinkers under the headlights.

correct. the body harness has a rubber female plug that fits in the hole, the light in the grill has a corresponding male plug that fits in the plug. my 58 the holes are a little lower, one of the vintage air hard lines went thru the right hole

No need to weld them up because you can not see them with the upper grill panel and hood latch

So what are those 4 louvers on each side for?? 1st picture
The Hood latch panel and upper grill panel bar hide them from being seen.
Does the horn sound come out there??

My truck was missing lot's of parts when I got it so It took me a while to figure out things.
