Dang that truck is looking sick. I wanna do a 1967 with a small back window like that but instead of doing a flat red doing a flat green with white rims. You got some mad skill by the way. Do you work at a shop?

Re: [PROJECT] FnLow 69

Know you are really going to be my evil twin if your going to leave it in the red primer, black wheels, and white walls. Planning to leave mine like that for a while, but going to get the wheels painted a dark gray color. I just cant get over how expensive white wall tires are going to be when I get ready for them. Yeah that bed is a pain in the but getting mounted straight still haven't got it done just right yet, as you can see from the pic. Yours is looking good.

Wheres the pics of it on the door? I am not too happy that I am going to chop up some new bedsides since my originals had dents from hell hidden under filler.

That kicks ass! I might have to give that a shot before I get "real" tires.

Re: [PROJECT] FnLow 69

This just makes me want to go work on mine. I had an entire air bag kit over a year ago and never had the time to put it on with school and work. I ended up selling the bags (lost alot of money on them) and bought 4/6 drop springs. As soon as I get my car sold I am going to get 2.5" drop spindles and 3" drop springs for the front and get 1.5" blocks for the back. That will give me a 5.5/7.5 drop total. Thats enough for me but yours looks so killer!!! Keep up the good work!

Re: [PROJECT] FnLow 69

I'm sure you have already answered this, but what headers are you running? I'm looking for some shorty-mid length headers I can run laid out. Any clearance issues with the motor mounts or starter? Very nice build! Thanks, Cory

Re: [PROJECT] FnLow 69

Flowtech makes a set. The part number is 11108flt. They are actually for an older Camaro but fit fine on a Chevy truck.

Re: [PROJECT] FnLow 69

Mines def not laid out but my headers now are about 3" off the ground so I got some for a 72 Nova that I was told will give me alot more ground clearance. Still waiting to put them on though...hopefully within the month. Gonna run the exhaust ( already bought 2 chamber flows) after I get the new heads put on.
