factory tach
can i use my factory tach when i put a6.0 in my 1987 ccsb ? stock engine is a 350

Yes. You'll have to have the tach resolution changed from 6 to 3 so it will read right. And depending on what year PCM you're using, you might need a 'pull up resistor' to strengthen the signal.

I'm in for one possible two of those overlays been looking at some of those expensive aftermarket clusters but trying to keep that original look. Willing to attempt one of these clusters.
