Updating Build Threads

Is there anyway I can update my build threads? Since photobucket started blocking 3rd party all of my pictures don't show. I'd like to update the links.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Updating Build Threads

Robert,
I always upload them to the forum from my phone or kindal.
Just click manage attachments, chose file, then the pic you want to upload, on my phone it asks camera or documents and I've used both.
After you've picked them click upload.
When that's done click close window, then I preview post to make sure it comes out the way I wanted. If it does I submit it. Hope that helps.

If you're a premium member, you can go back at any time and edit your posts. I think its about $20 per year.

You can't manage your attachments though. You have to use a convulted method of uploading resized photos to your album and then link them.

Re: Updating Build Threads

Why can't you? You should be able to click go advanced and do so. Let me know what happens or doesn't when you try. Screenshots help also.

hey Liz, this is what I get when I try to go back to edit a post and click "go advanced" then "manage attachments"

In my experience, any post older than about a week won't allow you to add attachments, only edit the text.

Re: Updating Build Threads

How about an automated solution by which a server-side script runs to download the thread pics to server-side storage? Compared to the potential thousands of hours it will take individuals to fix their posts manually that would be a pretty big win.

I am working on a solution for user sto be able to reupload their inages. However, there are a few vb mod coders that are working on photobucket import tools to fix all the issues right now. It may be a few weeks before a succesful script is fully functional. All the current ones photobucket managed to break with their no 3rd part images...

Thanks, Josh
