Does anyone know if I can use the lower a-arms off a 71-72 disk brake front end on a 65 with drum brakes or do I have to swap over to the disk spindle to make everything work???

If I remember correctly, the control arms the same, but the ball joints are different on the 71-72's.

I ALWAYS JUST SWAP OUT THE WHOLE CROSSMEMBER. IT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANY MORE WORK IF THE MOTORS OUT. & IF YOU ARE GOING TO REPLACE ANYTHING... NOWS THE TIME WHILE THAT HEAVY SUCKER ISN'T UP UNDER THE TRUCK. JOHN
