Removing the grill brackets from the outer grill.

My passenger side outer grill bracket is pretty rusty. To remove I have to drill through the rivets, right?

Now to put it back together, can I get by with small bolts, nuts, washers, and lock washers?

Drill them out and replace with rivet screws. They work and look great.

That's what I used. I don't have a decent picture but could post some in a few days.

Re: Removing the grill brackets from the outer grill.

Thanks man, I just now ordered a set.

I bought a set of grill brackets from a forum member 2 years ago but if I can cleanup and reuse mine I will. As much as I can, I try to keep all the original parts on my truck.
