Re: Take a Guess " What Did I Pay For It "?
With how cheap new trucks are getting with dealer incentives I am sure used prices are lowering as well. I would say anything under $10,000 would be a steal.

Yep ! rides like sitting on the couch at home ..At 70 seems like 45-50 and quiet inside .. sorta like yours but with out all the bells and whistles .. I worked with an ol Swede one time and he got a new truck and he told me after I ask him if he liked it and he said to me " Sure takes them shuck holes good , my boy " Now I can say that too. LOL |

Re: Take a Guess " What Did I Pay For It "?
If you go to Craigs List you can see what they are going for and it might surprise you that the economy isn't making much of a difference .. I used CL, nada .Kellys and word of mouth to get an idea of what they are going for ..
Heres a hint : They are not cheap by no means ...And I wont be buying any cars or trucks for awhile in fact I have one for sale right now to help me pay for this one .LOL papa Last edited by GOPAPA; 03-21-2009 at 10:36 AM. |

Re: Take a Guess " What Did I Pay For It "?
I don`t have a clue.But,I`d say in the $12-15k range.I wouldn`t expect an`06 to fall below $10Gs yet.
Actually, with new sales hurting so much it helps the used market.I`m not saying the used market isn`t hurting, just a bit of silver lining for them in there. Nice red truck to get in and go.Just what you needed. Now go!

Re: Take a Guess " What Did I Pay For It "?
My neighbor just got a very similar truck with 64K miles for $6000 (No trade, before down payment). The only differences are my neighbors is 2WD, not the Z71, no tool boxes and is blue. Also the custom rims are very similar. Otherwise everything else is the same.

Re: Take a Guess " What Did I Pay For It "?
Wow, you got a nice one! Kinda glad you passed up on the other one... the miles were pretty high! I also like the 05-07 classic nose MUCH better than the 03-04 (GM used the "HD" hood on the 1500's and switched the grill up a little, but IMO made a big difference for the better).
I'm going to say $14,900

If I get the closest bid, do I get to play "Plinko" and then spin the big wheel? I want a good showcase with a car Bob, er, I mean Drew!

Re: Take a Guess " What Did I Pay For It "?
I forgot to add mine, I would say $14,900 based on the prices I have seen for similar trucks locally plus adding in you live in high price haven up there. The same truck locally would be lucky to get $12K private or dealer.
KBB and NADA show private party value around $15-17K and retail at a dealership around $19K
