Interior color suggestions

Im having my 71 Burban painted satin black on the exterior and a gloss red on the interior. I am going to be using black door panels, black carpet, black dash pad. I am trying to decide on seat covers should I go black with white houndstooth or black with red houndstooth or maybe white with red houndstooh. I will have a set of white seat belts that are being restored that I will be using. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA

Re: Interior color suggestions

I already have the black carpet, black dash pad, black door panels and black rear cargo panels. I was trying to stop from having to buy all new stuff again, lol.

Well if you are going to use the houndstooth, I would go with black vinyl and a red hounds tooth that hopefully matches the red you are painting the interior.

Re: Interior color suggestions

by trim I was in reference to the piping on the seats, I would also suggest black stiching on the seatand black trim around the headliner

Re: Interior color suggestions

With the black door panels, I would use red/black houndstooth with black vinyl seat covers and black seatbelts. Or use white door panels, white houndstooth and white seatbelts.
