Question Repo Door Skins. Opinions?

Anyone used these on their trucks? Good/Bad? What brands fit the best. Thanks

You mean a lower patch, or a repo door w/o the hardware?

Trying to avoid buying the $280 complete door shells. Thought I may be able to get by with replacing just the exterior skins. Is the savings worth the hassle, or is buying a complete door just a better way to go?

I think he is referring to a complete door skin. I 've wondered too. The complete door skins run about $60.00 each. I've got some good shells, just the outer skins are dented or starting to rust.

I'm interested too. Might put them on the Blazer. Mine are pretty much in need. Has anyone actually used one? The entire door skin replacement is what I am talking about. Thanks for the inputs, Jeff.

I bought the whole reproduction door from goodmark. Id never recommend this to anyone until or if ever they make corrections to make them fit better. Mine fit like **** and I wished i'd have kept my old ones and put new metal on them like you are talking about. Hope this helps,
Guy

With a resto job like yours going on (that orange engine and clean frame make my mouth water - wow!) surely you wouldn't want cut corners on the exterior. Any irregularities in the fit of the door skins would be terrible. Pop for some good clean doors. It'll be worth it...
