Question options question

i just bought a 1972 chev 3/4 ton 4x4 with the following options:

belt moulding
turbo hydra-matic trans
comfort tilt
hd batt
tool stowage box
cheyanne equip
saddle vinyl cust
tinted glass
four season air cond
L47 400 cu.in engine
aux. fuel tank
power steering
am push button radio
tach and gauges
ochra and white paint

the biggest question i have is the motor, is it a factory big block
396-402 or is it a small block 400 (L47 option) there are more
options that i cannot read but i am working on it. is this truck
on the rare side if it is a factory 4x4 big block?

I dont think any 4X4 came with BB and they didnt come with 400 sb I know the 71 read 396 in the glove box I dont no about 72. Maybe it was not a original 4X4 it should say 4X4 in the glove box option list.

i could be wrong, but that option sticker sounds like it is from a pickup, not a burb. Tool box? Never heard of it for burbs, but it a fairly uncommon option on pickups. Also, 1970-72 the 402 BB was used, but labeled as 400 V8, and all BB are 2wd only. 396 was in 68/69 only (even though 396/402 use basically the same blocks). If it has the other options listed (tach, tilt, a/c) that would be cool. but it really sounds like a pickup GB door was used.

The glovebox door is not original as the model # decodes as follows
C= 2wd
E= V8 motor
09= Long Wheelbase
34= Fleetside Pickup
So the option sticker on the glove box door is from a LWB Fleetside Pickup.
