72 Burb A/C

Has any one bought or sold a 72 burb rear a/c set up recently? Trying to determine a value on one. I know they are tough to find.
Thanks for any help.

Re: 72 Burb A/C

The problem with pricing this is going to be the cost of shipping. If youre selling all the hoses from the front to the rear, all the plastic housing. Its heavy and its huge. Been a super long time since I bought any of that stuff so Im no actual (heh) help.

Shipping is not an issue on this one, just have no idea on a value? $250? $500?

That is odd, i have had a lot of interest in this one, i just hate throwing out a number until i find out a little more. Do you still have yours and willing to ship?

Re: 72 Burb A/C

I think I still have a complete rear unit with all the super long hoses and dash switch. For the life of me though I cant remember how much I paid for it. I might even have an extra housing ... Been too long since I looked at that stuff.

The thing about selling it now ... Shipping because its huge and heavy and will be a giant hassle to package. But mostly because you just aren't going to find this kind of thing anymore. Id ask at least 500 for what you have ... You wont lose money if you have to sit on it.

Re: 72 Burb A/C

I found my old post. I had it listed for $100 and got some nibbles but no buyers. I think shipping is the limiting factor.

Re: 72 Burb A/C

That isnt 72 rear air, looks earlier the type that runs down the middle from the front. Here is a link to your post.
