Cool Chevrolet by the Numbers question

Hello everyone..Alan Colvin here. I am the author of CBTN. I rarely post on forums but I have been a member for awhile and thought I would put this question out there and see what the response is. I obviously wrote CBTN for cars and not trucks but having been a former '70 (LWB Camper) Chevy truck owner and a BIG 67-72 fan since dirt..I have a question. I have all the data for trucks that I have published for cars but as I look around..it doesn't seem that many 67-72 restorations (or any truck restos for that matter) are really focused on original engine casting numbers. Lots of restos now just use an LS or standard crate motor. I think a CBTN for trucks would be a great project but I just don't know if the demand for a dead nuts engine build would be there today.I would appreciate any thoughts you may have. Thanx for your time!
