had a few cool custom touches like the 15" lift and 44inch swampers, skull fender emblem, pink rearend cover, had a cowl hood and billet grill with pink country girl across the windshield. We live in Kansas City so dont see trucks like these ever.
"I pray that some day i can find me a red-neck girl"

badass truck!!

Well, sold the Duramax truck today. Guess I need to find a 4x4 crew to DD now. I am really liking that Orangish looking one too.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. As soon as I start tearing it down to do the suspension I'll start snapping pics and get a build thread going.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

It may have been rebuilt and titled as a 92 but the is nothing visable on that truck that has anything to do with a 92

The owner told me it was an ex government truck, and was an oddball 1992 fleet vehicle likely using the very last leftover parts from the year before. So you're right, theres probably not a single part on this truck thats from a 92, but according to the owner, it did start its life as a 1992. (rather than being the product of a pieced together project) It did start out as a long box 2500 though.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Kinda sounds like my swb 2wd 1500 2007 silverado Classic. GM completely changed the silverado but continued to sell the previous body style trucks. It's the same body style as the o6 except the front grill and hood are left over from the 3500 trucks. The Vin# is considered to be an 07 because of the timing that it was made. It's base model work truck no power windows or locks and rubber floor mat, stock am/fm radio with 17inch wheels exactly like the 07-newer models.

Kinda along the same lines as a 99 Tahoe or a 2000 Escalade, or 2000 crewcab in the 88-98 body style. I'm a tow truck driver an it can be interesting trying to find vehicles like this in the WAL MART parking lot when you think you know what body style you're looking for. The 07 Chevy has fooled me before.
