Window rubber

Who has done the large side rear window seals? or the lift gate seals for the doors and window? They are not cheep so I would like to see if anyone has had a bad run in with any. I have replaced seals in my other trucks from LMC and they have been good. The door seals are vary tight so I got the GMC Paul seals and they rock. Just looking for some info. Thanks for any info.

Re: Window rubber

My PO kept the rear side windows and they were still on the glass when I purchased it. After I saw the price on those things, I'm glad he did and HOPE they can be re-used. I got the hatch glass rubber from Classic Industries.

Re: Window rubber

I am doing the tailgate and liftgate on a 67 Suburban.

The two come as a set from Steele Rubber, nice pieces but the first tailgate weatherstrip had one leg shorter than the other, about an inch and a half. I'm not makin that up. The piece from the second set had equal length legs and went on nice and straight, very nice in fact!

The liftgate weatherstrip should go on this weekend...

Re: Window rubber

I got mine from GMC Pauls. The best price on those expensive suckers that I could find. Have not put them in yet. Gonna have a pro come out and do them, plus all of the other fixed glass.
