04 windshield wiper issue

Just bought an 04 and tbe wipers only work on high and stop where ever they are at when you turn them off. Any ideas?

I would look at the wiper motor. I had a similar issue on my 2000 that I thought might be the multi function switch and had the same issue after changing the switch out. I changed the motor and everything is great.

The issue could be the multifunction switch or the board that controls the speed.

Cold solder joints on the speed and delay control board is the most likely problem.
