I have been looking at a 66 crew cab near me. It doesn't use the front doors as the rear doors. It has shorter square rear doors, the owner is dead and his wife has no idea about the truck. Is yours like this and do you have any idea of who made it

qksilver: if you go to www.6066gmctrucks.org you will find info on the crewcabs. They were built by a couple different coach companies I believe.

crew cab

yes mine has the shorter rear doors. some i've seen are basically two cabs welded together with a huge V gap of metal between the doors. this one is nice and small. it looks so cool. i'd say the rear doors are about 2 or 3 inches shorter than the front ones. i'll post some pics and get some more info on it in a week or two. i'm busy right now and i'm not gonna touch it till then. i do have some info from the previous owner about the company that made it. i'll post it when i get a chance. thanks. for the info.
