Bought another one

Look what I found. 80 3/4 ton 4wd 24,000 original miles. This was a firetruck from Bonham Texas. I will pick it up next week. Looks like it will need just minor work. Seat cover , floor mat, a/c compressor, and front bumper. It has a few minor dents but not to bad. Will need some new wheels too.

Re: Bought another one

Wow! Nice truck! Watch for oil leaks if you plan on driving it much since it is such low mileage and has obviously sat for long periods of time. What are your plans for it? ...Joe

Looks like a great find! Good luck with it! I love seeing the old 3/4 and 1 tons get fixed up.

Re: Bought another one

it would be tempting to redo the wheels, change the bumpers and that thing in the bed and sport the paint as is! But then again, I am a fire marshal so......

Heck yeah! I see that thing lifted a bit more with a cleaner push bar and rack...

I think that is what i am going to do. This one may go back to stock. And if the paint is good I will leave it. I havent seen the truck in person yet so I am not for sure.

Re: Bought another one

Nice find. That is some bumper. Sure would hate to be hit with that bumper. Looks like it could do some real damage. Enjoy your new find.
