ignition switch replacement help !

It looks like you have to remove the steering collum to get to the switch on top of the collum - The collum will not drop down enough to get to it - Am I missing something 84 c-10 automatic

i've always just reached up and unbolted them. not easy but can be done.

ditto.. i just replaced mine a bit ago and i just dropped the column down and finagled myhand/arm in there to do it..

loosen column enough to see it. small socket 5/16 (i think) and 1/4 drive ratchet

Duel 77-87 Factory air cleaner, duel inlet from rad support . Down sized 9' to new 8' Steel flat bed
Was a 77 454 w/308 gear. Taken out 550 lbs. up front with motor clip change.
