Parting 6500 GMC

Parting this gmc out. These are the pictures I have right now, not sure if I’m allowed to post the stuff for sale on this forum or not but I will try. If it gets moved then I’ll know. Everything’s available, I know some people were asking me about parts in my other posting of this truck but here it is officially being gutted. Still have some parts to remove so I don’t have pictures of everything.

Complete doors with mirrors (local pickup)- 450
GMC horn cap-25 shipped
Complete ashtray assembly- 20 shipped
Signal stat flares-55 shipped
427 emblems/vent and vent box- 200? plus shipping
Big block power steering reservoir- 30 shipped

More stuff on it I’m not thinking of. Let me know what is wanted

Re: Parting 6500 GMC

Throttle linkage was cut so it’s not any good anymore. The tach cluster I will be putting up for sale on the 67-72 ad page with the complete under dash wiring harness. Cab and front end are going to the scrap yard by the end of the week unless someone wants them and pays for them before or other arrangements are made. Make me an offer on the tow hooks I don’t know what they’re worth as well as the power steering box

Re: Parting 6500 GMC

I agree on the Fenders. Even if they are just good repairables, they are well worth saving. The Wide ones like you have there are pretty rare.

I wouldn't mind that Air Brake Pedal, if it can be taken out easy enough. Let me know what you would want for it.

Re: Parting 6500 GMC

It looks like the fuel tank is beat but I'd still be interested in seeing better pictures of it and the hardware. And like I said in your original post too the 427 badges pending price and condition still.

Re: Parting 6500 GMC

Tank is beat up, I have some pictures. The price for the 427 badges and vents is above and I have more pictures of them. I haven’t really polished the chrome and the badges but they will clean up very nice.

Re: Parting 6500 GMC

The tank has definitely had the snot beat out of it a few times. I'll pass on it, thanks though.

Re: Parting 6500 GMC

I’m still interested in the complete set of both mirrors pending price and condition if you will separate from the doors. I need them to be clean enough for a really smooth coat of paint or possibly even chroming.

Never mind on the mirrors. I traded some stuff for a set to a local guy.

I am awaiting payment on the emblems. If I don’t hear anything by tomorrow then they’ll be available again.
