just got a 91 3/4 ton 4x4 burb

so i was saving up for a moser 12 bolt posi for my 69 camaro, and a friend told me about this really nice burb not far from me, so thought i'd go check it out.....long story short, there goes my 12 bolt for awhile

its a 1991 3/4 ton 4x4 suburban, 3:73 rears, GM 350 replacement engine with only 30k miles on it, the burb itself only has 112k on it, also brand new tires, brand new exhaust. Under the doors look like new, its got the 3rd row seating and extremely nice interior. Also has a hitch and wired for towing

just had rust on the inner fenders (replaced those easy peezy)

think i'm just goin to drive it as is and in the spring lift it

Wow, nice burb... That interior is mint! It is kind of unique with the full wheel covers on it.

That's a big un, fer sure...

Can you confirm for me: are those wheel covers a full 16", or do they look like 15" wheel covers with a small adapter ring?

That is one of the best looking Suburbans with just the right stance. I've always loved those style wheel covers, they seem kind of rare especially a full set. I'd leave the suspension and drive as is, save the cash for the Camaro lol.

Has it been repainted? If not, the paint has held up amazingly well.

2 TH200 Metric 11 bolts
3 TH350 13 bolts
4 TH400 13 bolts
5 TH200-4R 16 bolts
6 TH700-R4, 4L60, 4L60E 16 bolts
7 4L80E 17 bolts

Re: just got a 91 3/4 ton 4x4 burb

4L80E is Chevy's easiest tranny to identify. It will have a good size patch of waffle pattern cast into each side of the bellhousing. Can't miss it.
The other way to identify one is to try to lift one by yourself. You'll know by the new hernia you just developed...

Re: just got a 91 3/4 ton 4x4 burb

Hey, I just was looking on racingjunk.com at Suburbans and I was going to call on it. Its in WV and has a newer 30k motor. Is this that truck?? If so I was seriously considered having someone go look at it for me and...............
