63 C10 seat

Being this truck is still in its Honey moon with us , we learn new things every day like last night I could not get the seat back to tilt forward, Did Chevrolet make such a bench seat? for should I go looking for bolts that should not be there? Hmm!

Re: 63 C10 seat

Wondrous things happen here when someone posts a picture of the item they ask about.
The side view of the seat hinge would tell if your seat was near original or not.

Yep, sometimes the seat back frame gets hung up on the stopper, but it would be easier to diagnose with a photo.

Easier yet... Does your seat have arms and pivots like the picture? (stock config). If so, it should fold forward unless someone modified it.

Re: 63 C10 seat

All 60-66 seats tilted forward. 67-72 seats are almost identical, bolt in 60-66's, but the seat back does not tilt forward 69-72.

I glued on a new camera lens,, for 3.00,, this is what I see,, looks like a second fastener in the brace, and the black upholstery covers the thing

Re: 63 C10 seat

If it were me I would have posted something similar to post #5 above, but that's just me.
By the looks of what we are allowed to see it doesn't look stock.

67 - 68 seats tilt forward too. Looks like your seat is a 69-72
