Re: my 86 prostreet c10

they are the race star rims which use to be greg weld. the work i done on the back haft was narrowed the rear end, ladder bars, coil overs, and tubed the bed. didnt haft to narrow the frame. although i did step notch the frame to get the ride hiegth i wanted. nice t/a. have you ran it at the track.

Nice truck. That dual cold air intake looks awesome! where did you purchase it if you don't mind me asking. What are the engine and suspension specs?

i bought it from a freind, but i think JEGS sales them now. the engine is a sbc 406:
brodix track1 heads
scat crank
hurricane intanke
soild roller cam
10.5-1 compressoin
eagle rods
arp studs

the suspension:
ladder bar and coil over with 200 pound springs
stock up front

Yep same wheels I have. I want a prostreet truck i just love the way yours looks. Yeah I had it at the track. Right now its a bone stock ls1 and 4l60e trans, 3:23 gears headers and full exhuast, 3200 stall and sticky tires it runs 7.80s. Pretty good for a stock drivetrain. what about yours?

last time it ran 7.87 on motor and shoting it ran 6.99. the rear gears is 3.73s and the truck weighs 4200 lbs with me in it. havent ran it since i put the 31 18.50s on it. dont think it will be as fast with the taller tires. the truck could be faster, but im not killing the streetablity for speed. besides i mainly show it ant way.

love the look of the raised wood floor, but kinda was wanting to show off those big wheel tubs. i think it part of the prostreet look. but i do agree, there is alot going on back there

Re: my 86 prostreet c10

Your truck is looking great!!! What is the present color called and what are you planning on changing it to? The raised wood bed idea would look good too. Maybe just below flush with the cell? Then it and the tubs would still be exposed.
