Phots of 2" 2" drop, yes I have used the search function....

Long story short, when I bought my 72 C10 long bed I swore I wasn't going to alter the stock ride height, and I may still hold true to that. I do like the originality and functionality of the stock height.

I definitely know I do not want to lower it much, I am not a fan of the lowered look, however I would like to bring it down just a bit and also keep the rake.

I have searched here and everywhere else I can think of and found a couple photos of a 2"-2" drop, and the couple I found looked like a good balance of what I am looking to do. I did notice however that when others have asked this same or similar question the thread gets deluged with people posting photos of further drops. While I always enjoy seeing other trucks it really doesn't help, so I have to ask if yours is dropped more than 2-2 or -2-3, please don't post up the photos.

For those of you who fall into this category can you please tell me the method used as it seems a simple spring change will get the job done.

Thank you, I have found this forum to be incredibly helpful.

Get 2 inch lowering springs for the front. Everyone who makes parts for your truck will sell them and if you have springs in the back get a 2 inch lowering block. Same thing everyone sells them. Even summit racing

Thanks for the reply.

Yes i have coils and understand the availability through numerous sources, what I am seeking are actual photos of the 2" 2" drop from others who have made the swap to see if its truly the look I want.

Thanks,

What are you running for tires on that? would it clear the big tires up front? Looks good.

The tires are 245 60 15 front 295 50 15 read. There is plenty of room for a taller tire

That looks good, I plan to rhino line my bed and use it as a truck still if I need to. I don't want to lose that functionality.
