Viking Winch

I have an old Viking 10,000 # winch with a busted end housing cap. If anyone has an old one that doesn't work but has a good end cap I could probably work out a good barter deal.

Just checking...

Re: Viking Winch

Is it the clutch housing or main gear housing. You can get it welded. Especially the clutch side, it holds no oil or gears, so you could weld and clean it up pretty easy. You can order a clutch or gear housing from Pierce, they're about $60. You can call them and see if their housings will work. Pierce bought Desert Dynamics. So they know the: Thor, Desert Dynamics, Hickey Enterprises, and I think also the Viking as the same winch.
