newer 2nd row seats

Has anybody here put a row of 73-91 seats in their sub? If so could you post some pics of em up and folded down, also do they take much fabrication or will they just bolt in?
thx in advance

Re: newer 2nd row seats

They go in without a lot of fabracation. The only thing I had to do was modify the lower seat center bracket and shim the lower seat outer stands that the seat sits on when it is in the seat position. To make the seat back latch I made a sheet metal piece from the wheel well forward. I will try to get some pictures posted of the brackets in place and the sheet metal filler for the latch. Dave

Re: newer 2nd row seats

I would be interested in pics also. My PO installed a late '70s seat, but it does not latch in the upright position. I kinda know what I have to do to get it to latch, but if your way is easier, then gret....

Here are the pictures of mounting the brackets and hinge for the seat backs. I also included a shot of the brackets I made for the front seats. Dave

Re: newer 2nd row seats

I made the filler panels to mount with screws. The hole in them is for a speaker. The back side has a stiffner added to it. I drilled the holes for the latch then welded nuts to the back side. Dave
