Re: sea foam green paint jobs!
Here is my 65, painted 1957 Chevy Lakespur blue, looks green in the shade or garage, blue in the sunlight. I just thought I would give another option for that color range.

Re: sea foam green paint jobs!
I may have missed it I took the lazy way out and didn't read all the pages but the long model year 91 run of the S-10[was more like a year and a half cause it came out in Jan instead of Sept]had a seafoam green and was labeled as such. I remember the color well as I built a couple of them. Jim

Re: sea foam green paint jobs!
Here is a pretty darn original 67 Suburban. The outside of the truck was painted a different color but the firewall, etc. was never painted. I would love to see this thing in original colors.

Re: sea foam green paint jobs!
Wow, a 6-Cylinder Suburban...didn't know they made such an animal.
Bet the body is really tight and squeak-free, and it's "never been raced" (like the '68 Charger I once had with a 6 under the hood - one of 940 made! Yeah, like that's a selling point...lol)

Re: sea foam green paint jobs!
I bought a clean truck that is warbonnet gold, but after pressure washing the engine compartment, it was originally seafoam green

Re: sea foam green paint jobs!
Here's my 1970 GMC Custom. Was repainted years ago. 76,000 original miles. I'm the 3rd owner. 6 cylinder 3 on the tree. Actually has factory power steering. Manual drum brakes. Little rust in rockers and typical under the battery box core support rot. It's truly pretty much a survivor other than the repaint and wheels.

Pass up a chance to show off? Not me. Here is my modern take on the 503 green. This is the first time I have heard it called Sea Foam.

Re: sea foam green paint jobs!
I have been looking for the close enough paint.
I found the code 502 and 503 that I will probably use to accent the interior. Is this the light green and medium green? Last edited by Getter-Done; 12-17-2016 at 01:40 AM. |

The day I bought it (trailer) and current status. Trying to keep as much of the org patina as possible.
