Re: S-10 swap maybe

First if your gmc is a short bed, best to start with a longbed regular cab s10, if you are restoring it, what are your plans. S10 swap seems pretty involved. I am starting one now. You def. need to be able to weld, and have a great knowledge of exactly what you want before you start.

Re: S-10 swap maybe

Stake pockets are on the corners of the bed and in the middle on the sides on long beds.

on the sides of the bed, on the upper rail, there are holes.
they're so you can stick a piece of wood (a stake) in, and add on a taller bedside, or rails or whatever.

heres a link that shows the wooden bed extension..
