SOLD button or something like that

I've been on some other forums where, once you've either sold your item or obtained what you were looking for, you can mark the thread as sold. This way, you're not weeding through a ton of useless listings and it really cleans up the for sale listings. I don't like deleting the thread, as I think it provides a good reference for cost of a part or even a photo of something you're looking for.

I dunno, just a thought as I was going through the classifieds the past few days.

Re: SOLD button or something like that

In the title you mean? Not a bad idea, but once an item is sold the listing drifts away due to no more posts anyway. In 67-72 parts it will usually move onto the second page that same day. What I do with every sale is edit the first post with SOLD as well as make a final post that just says SOLD

If you’re on top of the listings on a regular basis, I totally agree with you but if you’re trying to look for something because you have a new truck or finally have the money, it’s pretty annoying to scroll through several posts just to find it was eventually sold.
