Spid

Any way to tell from the vin what spid should read? The spid on my glovebox door, one half is just faded so bad I can't read it. The other half is worse I believe it was a county or state truck originally. Not many options I think only 6 listed. Sorry about the bad pics.

Re: Spid

Here is a link for most all options that was on the SPID.
Link: http://outintheshop.com/options.html
If you can take a Magnify Glass maybe with this list
you could decipher some of them.
Hope this helps.

Re: Spid

I think if you took a picture of the entire spid in one shot so it fills up the frame and in as close to being focused as possible and then post that. Someone should be able to use a couple of photo editing features and bring out the print so its readable enough to see what's on the spid.

Re: Spid

My truck is so unoptioned that the SPID has a note that says "Really? You really think something would be here?"

There's an SPID on here somewhere that the only thing on it is "Heater Delete"!

Re: Spid

That is great and apparently quick. When I get mine I won't forget to add the passenger hot air bag option.

I have one of those, too! Went camping last weekend, and it would appear that 1/4 mile following distance is too close, and "That light is red up ahead", from half a mile back. I told her she's driving next time, except mountains would crumble before we reached our destination.
