Re: Project Boosted

Here are a few more progress pics, I am getting alot of body flex and squeeks with the new suspension mods so the plan is a full tube structure and removable rollcage to eliminate flex and make me legal at dragstrip, here a few pics, the plan is to cut out rockerboxes and tie all mounts to the frame, modify trailing arms into an adjustable 4link setup. There will be alot more triangulation in structure and another lower door bar, rollcage will be easily bolted in for a quick trip to the strip.

Re: Project Boosted

My shifter is in the rear location and i built my own crossmember bolted solid to trans and is bushing mounted at framerails. It has a stock internal slave cylinder and i installed a hydrualic master and a stock pedal mated to it.

Re: Project Boosted

Have you read the NHRA rulebook? Its my understanding that all cages on full frame cars must be weld in, no removable or bolt in. Thats why mine is welded to the frame. Do you have a tech inspector near you?
