1966 C10 Front End Coil Cut Question

I had a question. My front coils were cut 1.5 coils each side. Does anyone know what that equates too in inches for the total drop on my front end? It was like this when I purchased it. Let me know.

Re: 1966 C10 Front End Coil Cut Question

I would think 3" or a bit more. Wrap and a half is a good bit.

Most people say 2" for one coil - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=421636

Re: 1966 C10 Front End Coil Cut Question

My truck in the front is only about 6 inches off the ground. I think it is 5 inch drop... Ill attach a picture so you can see it. Let me now what you all think the drop really is. My mechanic thought 4 inches. I think it is 4 to 5 inches.

Needed better side-views to get a feel for the drop--and straight-on with those side shots.
