I have a Chevrolet CST horn button with a excellent insert but the chrome outer ring is badly pitted. Anyone have the opposite. Good chrome outer ring with a bad insert.

I may have one as well. A quick question, a non custom truck, the horn button has a rubber ring that slips into the steering wheel to secure it, on a custom button, does it just secure on those tabs??

You are correct, no rubber retaining ring on the CST or GMC deluxe horn buttons. I may have one for parts also, I know for sure that there is a green wheel w/CST horn cap out there that I would want $125. for complete. Mel

This is what they look like. This is one that I should have never ever sold. It was as close to NOS as you could get.
