Re: SHE's DONE !!!!!!!

Mudder - I doubt it was me, Last year was my first year at Indy. Mine is a gas motor though, 468 BBC. My name is confusing because when I started chatting here I had plans to put a Duramax in another 72 4x4 I had but those plans fell apart and I settled for this project . hahah
I should probably change my name somehow??
I am from the Festus area (30 minutes south of St. Louis)

Sure thing I am leaving the house at 6am friday morning. If you want to get ahold of me before then I might be able to save a spot for ya.

Re: SHE's DONE !!!!!!!

Ghetto - Saving us a spot would be great as it looks like we wont actually pull into town until after lunch, saving us a spot would be a big relief. I dont know how packed Friday's get but last year Saturday morning was insane, actually never found a spot to park. It kind of sucked, so a decent spot/location would be great. I will PM you my number, tell what beverage of choice you would like and I will be sure to have plenty!!

Re: SHE's DONE !!!!!!!

Fridays are crowded also. I used to go up on Thursday getting there mid afternoon and they were already taping off areas. Basically it is a 3 day show. Friday is a good day to take pictures because there won't be as many spectators there as on Sat and Sun. When you leave your spot it is a good idea to put chairs or something there to save it.

Re: SHE's DONE !!!!!!!

Mudder,

Well I actually forgot to put my "judging" card out until late in the day on Saturday, so I really doubt it. But it really doesn't matter, there were a ton of people that looked and took pics and that always makes you feel good. Plus all the great comments from you guys, make those long nights in the garage worth it.

Thanks again guys for all the great comments

Re: SHE's DONE !!!!!!!

Jugding at Jamborees. You have to purchase a judging card at registration when going through there. At about 10am on Saturday the judging will start. Last year at Springfield I heard they were going to go around to the trucks. I wasn't there so I don't know. Usually they have a drive through. The big card you put on the windshield is for particapant's choice awards. That is the one that people walking by get to choose. Even tho you will probably blow me away at Springfield, you should get judged.

Re: SHE's DONE !!!!!!!

Did you use an adapter for the TH400 to NP205?

Re: SHE's DONE !!!!!!!

I used the factory TH400/NP205 adapter. It wasn't easy to find that combo but luckily I have a buddy who decided he wanted to go with a 4 speed so I was able to buy it off him. I then went and had the tranny built by a guy here locally.
