Yes sir... heart wrenching. I thought I had deleted all the pics from the accident, but I found this one. A few fellas on here wanted me to post pictures... and that's the one I have. I am in the process of rebuilding it now. Slow painful process.

Oh sh**, sorry about that man. Just remember, there's many trucks out there, and only one life.

You can build it again like your doing now and do the things you wanted to last time and didn't. I'm sure there are a few things that come to mind. Just happy you lived thru it.

I know if I had mine to do over I would redo a few things that I wish I did the first time.

Re: Rednose 65...1965 chevy short step-side

I had not seen your thread before saw it just now and started from page one. Was looking forward to seeing where things had progressed to... Very sad to hear what happened to you and your truck. These trucks become part of us when we put so much blood sweat and tears into them... I feel your pain, and wish you well.

Very true. Thank you for your kind words. I'm grateful nobody got hurt in the accident...SO GRATEFUL, but I built my truck to drive it. Unfortumately, these things happen. The more you drive them, the more they are put at risk. Just like with anything.

It's part of The Game I know and love so much and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. This now gives me the opportunity to do things to her I wanted to do in the beginning, but could'nt. She will have a different look... That's for sure!

Stay tuned...

Going a different route this time. Making some changes... different hood, different grill, the obvious wrap around windshield and big back window, and going with a totally different color this time.

Glad to see it's coming together again. I like the look with the 60-61 hood. Something about the curves. What color you thinking about?

Wow we seen to have the same tastes (in trucks it's pretty obvious). My 50 Olds is two tone green.
