'88 with a 4/6 drop. It's got 2"springs and 2" spindles up front, flip kit in the rear.

Thanks for giving me a reason to post another pic of my truck. LOL

BTW there's a thread for swb shortbox pics: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?

That is one of the cleanest "no frills, nice and simple" trucks out there. It just has the look. (I didn't mean anything bad with "no frills, nice and simple".)

swb= short wheel base. I think your truck qualifies, if it's the one in your avatar. I don't care to see the lwb because I want to see what the shorties look like.

I had Short Wide Bed in my head.

It's on air.
Front: 2" DJM spindles and RideTech ShockWaves.
Rear: KP 4-link/panhard and Firestone bags.

I'm not one to cut my truck up to get it to lay out all the way. I still have my front inner fenders and an uncut bed floor. I can actually roll (slooooowly) and turn full lock with it aired all the way out.

Re: I need to see lowered swb trucks.

Fittina gonna go wash it. But, here's mine with a 2/4 drop...DJM spindles up front, with DJM shackles/hangers out back and BellTech upper shock mount relocators in the rear. The wheels are Wheel Vintiques 16x7 Vette-style rallye wheels (with ribbed trim rings and Police caps) and Yokohama Geolander HT-S 245-70R16's.

If I had the tire thing to do over, I'd go a touch shorter on the aspect ratio...a 60-series, fo sho.

Re: I need to see lowered swb trucks.

Thanks for posting guy's.

1badgmcLove the box side work (step delete) did you do it yourself? or did you have it done? kind of takes on a dually look from the rear.

BIG MAC: do you get any rub when you hit bumps,... your tires loook pretty close to the fender edges.

JWall: your old blue has got to be the cleanest ride i've seen.

I wish I could claim the work, but I can't. I'm no bodyman, but I do have a good bodyman for all my work. The shaved steps are done with a kit. The kit comes with a rollpan and the new side pieces. Even though it is a kit, there is still a lot of fiberglass work and a bit of fab work needed to make it come out nice.

Nope I rolled the front fender and had to notch the rear fiberglass one a bit.

I wish I could but I just can't run it as low as some of you guy's got yours. Up here in Up Up state NY we have huge pot holes or are they speed bumps all over the place. I think I will go with the 2" and 4" drop for now.

Re: I need to see lowered swb trucks.

Mine is a 2/4 drop. In my hometown, there are numerous street intersections where there is a dip between insecting streets. With the drop I have, it isn't a problem to have the bottom of the front air dam contact the pavement. So, I try to ease through them. It's part of the process of "monitor and adjust" that becomes the way to drive a lowered truck. Some folks just drop and drag on whatever comes up.
