It's not. It's alittle lower in the rear than the front.
Just reread your post. As it is in the pic it's about a 1" maybe 2" from the frame.

Yea they are but it still has i believe 235/85/16 tires on the back. I was planning on going with a little shorter tire. Maybe 235-75-16 on the rear and 235-70-16 or something close on the front. The front only has 2-3" between the wheel wells and the tire now with 235-75-16 on it and i want to keep the wheel wells if possible.

Your front drop was the springs only right?

It's a suburban tank, 31 gallon. Look on page 6 there's a few pics. I took the spare crossmember and moved it to the front and cut out the rear bracket on the fraame and flipped it over, then added a piece of angle at the front to bolt the straps too.

Gold base is down, i'll get it wrapped for the orange in about 30 minutes. Should have it all shot by about 9pm. More pics later.

I got the doors shot tonight, they turned out the best that i have shot so far.
Now all i like is the hood and tailgate!

Little update. I got my headliner back from the upholstery shop this week, carpet laid in trying to get it to relax in place. I am going to paint all of the interior headliner trim in the morning and try to get the headliner and carpet done between ball games tomorrow. I have the rear door installed and will install the front after getting the trim done. Then get both of the passengers doors built.
I need to start putting the stero in mount the amp and speakers and get all the wiring under the dash for the cruise wrapped up.
That should about take care of the weekend, then off to another ball game Sun. evening.
I will post some pics tomorrow.

On your carpet you can try steaming it to lay down. You use a heat gun too but it's a little more dangerous.

Did you paint the base coat with the door lying that way? If so - be careful doing that- I sprayed a fender like that once with a high metalic color- and it didn't match. The Metalic in the paint lays out a certain way due to gravity, it is generally recomended to have the panel orientation correct when doing metalics, to ensure the best match. I didn't believe that until it happened to me. The fender matched the hood perfectly(when laid flat) but looked a shade off at the door. Hung the fender on a stand and repainted with the same paint- matched perfect. It might've gotten by for anyone else- but it drove me nutz.LOL

Not trying to jack your thread- Truck is AWESOME. Just wanted to share that info.

Yes, i painted them just like they are in the picture. Paint match looks good.

No new pics yet but i did make some progress. Carpet is in along with the front seats, both passengers doors built except for the door panels. I am going to try putting some relays on the windows to see if they really help them going up.
I'm going to have to get the rear seat recovered later, it's to light now with the darker seats. That really sucks because it is in perfect shape.
Next up i need to pull the fenders back off so i can get the core support off and get it blasted and powder coated. Then alot more color sanding and buffing.
I'll try and get some pics tomorrow night.
