Doug Thorley is the go to. They have 1-3/4" and 1-5/8"

Do the 99+ truck headers fit or do I need to get a set for a camaro or gto?

Re: Long tube headers for 5.3L swap

Stock truck header will need frame surgery, the TBSS manifolds work very well, they are shortied tho. Hooker makes an aftermarket version of the TBSS.

Shorties are fine for stock or "tuned" applications, if cam swap and added power, you need long tube.

We went with Speed Engineering 1-7/8" headers.

The Speed Engineering website does say they require slider engine mounts to clear the front crossmember. Not sure if that's what you are using or how true it is.

We used the stock '65 230ci perches, stock replacement mounts, and Speed Engineering's motor mount plates...no clearance issues.

That's good to know, those are way cheaper than the Dirty Dingo sliders.
