wiring harness sheath 67-72 front core support

[gmc 2500 4x4]

does anyone reproduce these sheaths? one mounts to the core support and one on the cowl. my books seem to say its part of the harness.

You can buy them as a pair from most vendors. Dang sure you can get singles too.

They are only "black" taped too the harness on the very ends.
easily replacable.

I would contact gmc pauls or wes at classic heartbeat. Im sure they can provide quality examples.

I have some here and it seems some are paper thin and cheap. But a few have thicker plastic material.

The screws allways seem too tear out.

Good deal.
new ones really help too clean up under the hood.
might i suggest screws with oversized washers under them.
i thought about perhaps making small "t" tabs kinda like a oe valve cover spreader hold down. To help support the plastic but it did take many yrs. For them too look bad and they are cheap enough too replace.

I scavaged conduit and connectors from jy's.
cleaning them all up is a pita.
Scrubby brush and dish soap,and a upset wife when i left the sink dirty
my "clamp" has slipped a lil' but should give ya a idea of what "i" did in my 67.
My mods are not for everyone but i think it looks better than than a taped up harness and should protect the wires a lil' more. But really doesnt have that classic harness "look".
