Feel free to laugh but where does the floor vent on the passenger side get its feed from? I just picked up a 80 c10 and there's a snake in there idk how to get him out cause I'm not reaching through that access in the passenger floor board???

I was cutting out the radio area with a Sawzall in a '70 Chevy before junking it when a big ole black snake struck at me from under there. I had really pissed him off! What a surprise that was. Shook me up good!! I just started cutting the firewall from the engine compartment and I saw him slithering away

If it runs and the heater works, put it on max heat. The snake will either leave or die. Expect to have to clean out the heater/AC vents due to rat/mouse nests. Free mice may be why you now have a snake.

I used the heat method to encourage some mice to leave the heater vents.

Turn mice loose and the snake will come out to eat them. Then get a cat to eat the rest of the mice. When there are no more mice get a dog to run the cat off. If you don't like dogs put a bear in there. If you don't like bears your screwed

Hang a 100w light bulb about a foot from the floorboard. Snakes are cold blooded and will seek the warmth of the bulb on a cold night. How you grab him is up to you.

At least I'd flood that hvac system with minimum of water to flush it out.

2nd choice would be something with softner freshners to help get rid of mice and snake smell.

Well the python will probably dislike the water and freshener and disturb it while it's trying to have lots of baby snakes up in the vent system, so think of its feelings and don't make it too mad.
