72 brake rotor question
I have my front hub apart to fix ball joints. I planed on turning my rotors due to large rust buildup from setting over 30 years.
My store says they cant turn them for 2 reasons. One, the grove that was mfg into these they say isnt suppose to be there. Two, wont fit on the machine. They claim this setup can be taken apart, and just replace the disk part. I dont see how. Is this correct? Replacing the whole thing is 200 a side, which I would rather spend on other parts right now.
