36" or 37" tires.
Anybody make streetable tires in these sizes? My truck is lifted about 7" all spring and currently has 35s that look a little on the small side. I don't wheel this thing do to not wanting to trash it and it not really fitting on what few trails there are around here. Ive been looking for a 36 m/t or even a/t but havent seen much other than a swamper and I don't really want to spend 1200 bucks on tires that are going to be bald in a year of driving around town. Anybody have any suggestions? I've got 15x10 wheels.

BFG muds. The new KM2 comes in a 36x13.5
Although if you were a boss, you'd roll the 36x15.5 Mickey Thompson MTZs. I have wet dreams about those tires (I live 5 minutes from the dunes, where wider tires reign). Posted via Mobile Device |

Find some military take-off 37" tires. They are radial, moderately good offroad, and I hear they wear like iron on the road.

+1 on the military tires if you want CHEAP.
My favorite is the toyo m/t. I ran mine for 20,000 miles and they still had half life it looked like. |

+1 on the military surplus. I'd like to run those if I hadn't found a set of MT/KO's new for 600. I like the way the military tires look and the tread design and hear that they wear well too.

I think Goodyear used to make a 37/12.50r15 mtr that would let you keep your current wheels. I saw a set on pirate earlier this month for 650 but think they went fast.

The military 37's aren't that big though, they measure a little over 35" if I remember right.

Re: 36" or 37" tires.
I'd be all over the millitary tires if it weren't for the 16.5 wheels size. I don't think I'd clear a 38 and it took too long to find good GM sheet metal to be hacking it up for tires. I've only got half to running gear with 3.73 gears also and just spent 1200 bucks building another rear end last year after getting rear ended so I'd kinda like to keep that for a few years at least.

My favorite tire is still the TOYO M/T. Where I am, you can get a full set with wheels for $1K with little miles on them.

Re: 36" or 37" tires.
not my fav. tire, but still an excellent tire. have a set of 38x15x16 M/T's, wear like steel, big load capacity, rock solid-no shimmy or shake, decent price, good in all except heavy mud. whacked my front one on the rocks hard enough to dent the bead 2 yrs ago, still holds air. i would'nt recommend swamps for daily driving. my 38.5 sx's wear good, but the crew rocks & rolls down the road on them

Re: 36" or 37" tires.
i find them great in snow, lots of siping on them. heavy mud is about the only drawback unless you got lots of power to clean them out

+1 Good in snow and daily driving on the street. If you wanted tires for some heavy mud, get swampers or something
