Not a stupid question. No significance other than this option is seldomly encountered and oddly wasn't listed as available on pickups with a chrome bumper though examples of the combo are documented.

Thank you. I had to ask since my Blazer has the hooks (and it does have a chrome front bumper) and I just assumed they all came that way.

I still have so much to learn...!
