Better power window switches?

I don't like this style anymore:

I've had long years of experience with that design, and I don't want it anymore. Don't like it, and I'm switching to a new and better design. One that has auto up/down functionality. (I'll add the auto up/down later)

But which new and better switch should I go with? Which ones would look ok, and not too out of place? Perhaps the colors are something to consider. I have tan interior, so maybe black or even silver would be ok. I might even be able to get some that are tan, or paint some. Regardless, which style would you go with, if you were going to replace those old power window and door lock switches, with a more modern variant?

Re: Better power window switches?

The BMW style window switches (specifically the E36 body) were pretty nice switches. They used to be repop'd as aftermarket parts for pretty cheap, but I can't recall which catalog I saw them in. Regardless, they're pretty cheap used from a junkyard or ebay.

Re: Better power window switches?

Do you happen to know if they're auto up/down?

Then again, I may just have to build that in from the back end.

Re: Better power window switches?

Anyone else have any ideas to throw out there?

Like maybe there are some more modern switches, that would cover up the factory holes in the door panels pretty well?

Re: Better power window switches?

So what exactly is wrong with stock switches? Just looking for a modern look? It'd be nice if one could order stock type door panels but without holes for either crank or power windows.
