Bolts for aux springs

Hello all
I bought a set of aux springs for my 72 off the site and they did not come with bolts. Can someone tell me the size of the bolts that go to the frame please.
Thanks K.E.N.

Re: Bolts for aux springs

overload springs under the bed that are bolted to the frame.
I have a long bed with coils and I will be making a long trip in the future. Thought that the extra springs couldn't hurt so I bought them off the board a while back and was going to install them this week. The bolts were not included in the sale.

Re: Bolts for aux springs

That's because, IIRC, they were originally riveted to the frame.

Find the best fitting grade 8 bolts you can buy.

Re: Bolts for aux springs

They ARE bolted to the frame. At least those on my '69 have been since day one. I think the bolts are 1/2" diameter by about 1-1/2". I can't verify the size... at least for a few weeks.

Re: Bolts for aux springs

They are 1/2" bolts. 3 are 1/2" x 1-1/4" and 1 is 1/2" x 1-1/2" with a thick washer. Here is a picture

Re: Bolts for aux springs

I'll bet the bottom two are 1/2" also.
Thanks to all.
