We've all put our ideas on this here over time. Search "battery relocation" in the search engine and tons of them with pics will pop up.

Re: Where to install battery on a TC truck

I like the stock location, easy to access and maintain battery. But then, my truck is old school!

Re: Where to install battery on a TC truck

The stock location is by far the most accessible, but it depends upon if you want the stock looking battery location or something else. I know I'll hear about how dangerous it is to have a battery inside the cab, but I've mounted mine behind the seat in an enclosed battery box. Very accessible and it totally hidden.

Re: Where to install battery on a TC truck

I modified the factory battery tray and mounted it to the frame behind the passenger side step.

Behind driver seat. For whatever reason, the stainless drop down battery holder i bought would not fit mounted to the frame under the steps.

Re: Where to install battery on a TC truck

Going for the empty firewall look has never been a goal of mine.
Good place for the battery and master cylinder IMO as long as it's done neatly.

Re: Where to install battery on a TC truck

If you're mounting the master cylinder on the firewall, it looks imbalanced to NOT have the battery offsetting it on the opposite side.
