floor pan vender

I thought that I seen on the message boards that gmc pauls made the full floor pan for the blazers. All I can find is the full floor pan for the pickups. Has anyone bought the full blazer floor pan from somewhere else and used it? Just wanted to make a note of the new blazer/jimmy sheet metal products are for when I need them. Thanks in advance

It may have been Wes at heartbeat classics that had it on the board.

Re: floor pan vender

I did not know anybody made one for the Jimmy/Blazer, I bought a cab floor and modified it to fit the Jimmy. Just recently put the tub on the frame and body mounts lined up great. Take plenty of time and do the layout. I built a rotisserie that replicates the frame body mounts and it worked great. good luck with your project.

Re: floor pan vender

I think this is the post you might have seen. It is the rear floor they are making now and they also have the step up now that is between the front and rear floor. I don't think they have a complete front floor yet

Re: floor pan vender

it is available. I had my local vendor offer it to me after I had emailed about the pickup floor pan. He said 2 -4 weeks he could have me one. So it is out there. As soon as I get caught up I am getting one

Re: floor pan vender

The Blazer cab floor pans advertised by So. Ky. Classics and others ARE NOT A BLAZER FLOOR PAN. They are the truck cab floor pan and have the raised area behind the seat for the in cab gas tank that is located behind the front seat in the truck. You will need to cut this area off that floor pan and then modify it to work with the Blazer. The actual Blazer cab floor pans are supposed to be out later this year but we do not currently have a date for them to be available as yet. Currently only the following complete Blazer / Jimmy parts are available.
1969-72 Blazer Jimmy Rear Cab Floor To Cargo Floor Step Up Plate ( used to join cab floor to cargo area floor )
1969-72 Blazer or Jimmy Bedside Assemblies*L&R
1969-72 Blazer or Jimmy Cargo Bed Floor Area
1969-71 Blazer Doors L&R
1972 Blazer Doors L&R
There are also different patch panels available for Blazer / Jimmy only
1969-72*Blazer / Jimmy Upper Windshield Header Repair Set
1969-72 Blazer/Jimmy Rocker Box L&R
1969-72 Blazer/Jimmy Rocker Box Cap L&R
1969-72 Blazer / Jimmy Rear Passenger to Cargo Section Step Up Plate For Drivers Side
1969-72 Blazer / Jimmy Rear Passenger to Cargo Section Step Up Plate For Passenger Side
1969-72*Blazer / Jimmy Rocker Box Reinforcement Assembly Plate L&R
1969-72*Blazer / Jimmy Rear Cab Floor Support L&R
69-72 Blazer / Jimmy B-Pillar Patch ( Behind Rear Lower Door Pillar AREA On Bed Side)**L&R THESE ARE NOT REQUIRED IF USING NEW BLAZER BED SIDES AS THEY ARE A PART OF THE NEW BED SIDE
69-72 Blazer Front Lower Section Bedside L&R

Paul Jr.
When you say 'later this year', do you mean after next summer? I'd like to do mine then. How will I know when you have them available?

Re: floor pan vender

The new Blazer floor is going to be out a while yet. The first round of floors were rejected. They are retooling so it will be 4+ months at the earliest if I were to guess.

Re: floor pan vender

Raising this one from the ages, has a full cab floor for Blazer been ever released? Or is it still modifying the pick up one?

Re: floor pan vender

I had been told recently that the Blazer floor was on the menu but you couldn’t order one. That was from Classic Heartbeat about two weeks ago. He said that they were still hoping to get them but it didn’t look good.

Sounds like a modified truck floor is still the only option.

Re: floor pan vender

For my build - we used a standard 2wd cab floor with bracing and then measured/cut and bent the rear lip upward to match the OEM Blazer floor style.

It's doable w/ the cab floor part.

If there was a blazer floor ready to go - that would save you some time/hassle.

Re: floor pan vender

For my build I used a 4x4 truck floor pan and modilfied it. Its some work but doable. I'm working on all the seat and cross bracing now. Here's a link to my build with pictures of it.
