Changing rear main and oil sender on 1500HD

Going to change the rear main this weekend. I bought the seal that included the plate and want to change the oil sending unit as well. One the trans is out, is it a pain to do? Thanks

The oil pressure sender will be a lot easier to replace when the trans is removed.

You might as well go ahead and buy the oil pressure switch socket if you don't have one already. Only a thin wall socket will fit in there.
