New to me 70 burb

Been looking for a blazer or a suburban for a while now and the girlfriend found this one on the internet. Bought it and had it shipped from Idaho to Alabama and it got here today. Planning on getting it cleaned up and running and driving for nw. Then later on have 6.0 ls and 4l80 that will be going in it. And bagging it eventually.

Re: New to me 70 burb

I'll have to get some more pics when I get off work this afternoon. Story behind it though is that the dealer I bought it from bought it from original owner. It has been painted at some point though.

Well got the burb to the shop and found the motor is locked up. So the ls swap will begin sooner than later.

Break it loose and use it..... I did that with a Buick engine once and ended up driving it for four years before it gave up the ghost.... I had to pry it over with a pry bar on the flywheel teeth to get it broke loose.

Re: New to me 70 burb

I pulled the plugs and the number 6 plug had been smashed so I'm guessing theres internal damage.
