Under bed gas tank install confusion

Hey Everyone,

I need some help, I bought a LMC under-bed blazer tank and I'm wondering how to mount it. It came with the straps, the straps have a single pre-bent location (which I think is wrong). Anyway, I'm not sure if they go front to back or side to side because it doesn't look like either will really work. The tank has 4 notches that line up on the frame, but I'm unsure how to attach the straps.

Do I need to drill holes for the J bolts to install? What about just using bolts where the notches are and ditching the straps all together?

Thanks in advance!
