Question Odd Master Cylinder

I still like to leaf thru paper catalogs rather than just doing it on the internet and I came across this: http://ssbrakes.com/i-10094063-maste...r-a2930cm.html Can you tell me what application would use something like that?

Re: Odd Master Cylinder

That's for something such as a street rod where the master cylinder may need to be mounted on the frame under the floor. The reservoir would be hard to get to, so a remote reservoir is located somewhere convenient, above the master. You would make your own steel line to connect the two.

Re: Odd Master Cylinder

I agree with ^^^ but its a weird image, I can't tell if that master and res are actually bolted to some kinda bracket (application specific), or if thats just there for illustrative purpose.
